National Vending Day

Thursday, March 4, 2021

National Vending Day is a celebration for the millions of Americans who buy their snacks, beverages and non-consumable items from a vending machine every day. This year, NAMA is celebrating the great men and women who kept the industry moving and the machines stocked during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vending is the cornerstone of the conveniences services industry. With a total economic impact of more than $31 billion, the convenience services industry employs over 159,000 hard-working Americans, pays $9.4 billion in wages, and contributes $3.6 billion taxes at every level of government.

From traditional vending and micro markets, office coffee and pantry services, manufacturing, and small-drop distribution – unattended retail meets the needs of over 40 million American consumers daily at work, home, school, and play.
