Klarc Snowden is an entrepreneur, sales and management professional, and a passionate pioneer of the Office Coffee Service sector. He was an early adapter of the automatic single-cup coffee machine and built a successful OCS business around it. You might say that he was bean to cup before bean to cup was cool.
He launched an innovative coffee service business in Cleveland, Ohio, with the vision of providing a premium quality, environmentally responsible coffee experience to the workplace featuring automatic “grind and brew” machines and locally roasted coffees. It was 1997. Today, this category of machines is called “bean to cup” and it is the hot trend in OCS, but 20 years ago, it was simply called crazy. Klarc persevered through trial and error and discovered how to be successful with this concept. Eventually, he sold his OCS business to a national competitor but has remained dedicated to his vision, pioneering the growth of the bean to cup category and sustainable coffee service offerings.
Klarc continues to work with the leaders in the refreshment services sector, guiding their efforts to deliver the very best and most responsible coffee service experience to the client, while maximizing profitability. With his unique combination of OCS experiences – from operator to manufacturer – Klarc brings a unique perspective and rich insight to his subject matter.
