Gain a better understanding of how to effectively utilize Collaborative commerce (C-commerce) to enhance your overall OCS business, maximize your efficiencies and increase profitability. This involves optimization of supply chain, distribution channels and new technology to efficiently assist with the communication of the various business channels. In collaborative commerce, organizations coordinate with each other and within OCS company departments, as a way of cross functionalizing their efforts.

Tom has worked with a wide range of consumer packaged goods enterprises with a dedicated focus in the coffee industry the past two decades. Over the years, Tom has had extensive hands-on experience with planning, implementation and execution of strategic business plans. Tom’s professional growth has coincided with the growth of the coffee industry, which has fueled his passion for leading sales and operations teams.

Tom has achieved top honors in sales and operations, developed successful training programs, developed/presented “Improving your Office Coffee Service” at the California Bottled Water Association convention and NAMA’s Coffee, Tea and Water “”Essence of Coffee; It’s in the Cup””. He has turned underperforming business operations around and solidified relationships with key partners in the beverage industry.

Tom has been a member of the Specialty Coffee Association, National Coffee Association, International Bottled Water Association, National Automatic Merchandisers Association, and serves on the Coffee Service Committee at NAMA.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from University of Northern Colorado.”

As an account manager for Avanti Markets for the past five years, Stu has contributed to continued business development for Avanti Markets all across the west region. He has earned honors such as: NAMA Coffee Service Hall of Fame; William L. Herboard Award; NAMA Vending Allied Member of the Year; Nathan Bram Supplier of the Year. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and post-graduate studies at Michigan State University- Eli Broad College of Business.
