Joe heads up the insights & analytics department supporting The Coca-Cola Company’s U.S. commercial functions including sales, category management, commercial, revenue growth management, strategy, and customer marketing across both the Retail and Foodservice sectors. Core responsibilities include category/channel insights, research, shopper/guest insights, analytic best practice development, industry thought leadership, and strategy development.

Joe has been with The Coca-Cola Company in a variety of roles for the past six years. He has worked in analytics roles within Shopper Insights and was the national category manager for the Sparkling Soft Drinks business unit following the integration of Coca-Cola Refreshments (company-owned bottler).

Prior to The Coca-Cola Company, Joe worked at Nielsen in brand and marketing performance on-site at Coca-Cola as an extension of the Coke Trademark brand unit. He also previously held multiple roles in strategy consulting, category management, and shopper research at Acosta – managing projects across more than 50 accounts on both the manufacturer and retailer side.

Joe is farm-raised in southeastern Missouri but spent his middle and high-school years in St. Louis where most of his extended family lives today. He currently lives in Atlanta with his wife Katie and son Rhett where they are involved in local community programs with the ASPCA, Project Open Hand, and the Piedmont Park Conservancy. Joe also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Marketing Science Institute as one of their corporate advisors.
