Greg Sidwell Becomes Chair of The NAMA Foundation

CHICAGO — July 30, 2020 — Following his tenure as NAMA Chair, G & J Marketing President Greg Sidwell has taken the helm at the NAMA Foundation, as his term as Chair of the Board of Trustees is underway.

Greg Sidwell’s enduring leadership in the industry, with longtime roles at the Board and committee level, culminated with his most recent tenure as NAMA Chair. Sidwell’s outlook on the industry underscores the need to provide support to NAMA members, including NAMA Foundation research, as a part of navigating the COVID-19 business landscape.

“Supporting the convenience service industry and making a meaningful difference – that’s the goal of the work of the NAMA Foundation and I’m proud to help lead the effort this year,” said Sidwell. “Providing education to those who need it most, as well as launching benchmarking research for our industry has never been more important.”

The mission of the NAMA Foundation, established in 1982, is to advance strategic support of voice, knowledge and research to benefit the convenience services industry.

NAMA represents the $34.9 billion U.S. Convenience Services Industry. By providing advocacy, education, and research, NAMA works to promote and protect the industry’s over 160,000 hardworking employees. Through traditional vending and micro markets, office coffee and pantry services, product manufacturing, and small-drop distribution, convenience services meets the needs of over 40 million American consumers daily at work, home, school, and play.
