Anant is the EVP of Corporate Development at USA Technologies. He is focused primarily on expanding the USAT Cashless and Logistics services to the broader unattended retail world, including new and emerging markets. Prior to this role, Anant was the cofounder and president of Cantaloupe Systems, which was recently acquired by USA Technologies. Anant’s favorite vending snack is Twix.
Bob Hurley, Regional Sales Director
Bob has held a variety of roles in his 35+ year career in vending, including managing operations, coordinating and directing acquisitions, and leading business development. He has spent the last 2 and half years implementing and operating the Cantaloupe Seed Cloud solution for Right Choice Vending in south Florida, leading business development efforts with Cantaloupe as the featured component of every proposal.
Bob has held numerous management positions with Canteen, Servomation/Macke, Sodexo, and large regional, and independent operators. Additionally, Bob has worked with a variety of advancements in vending, including EMS, Compuvend, MEI Easitrax, Streamware, and Canteen and Servomation proprietary vend management systems. As VP of Operations for Sodexo, Bob directed the full deployment of streamware to the Sodexo national route operations. He also managed the start up, growth, and development of Sodexo’s branch operated Avanti micro markets. Bob’s career in vending began with Canteen in 1980, working as a route driver. This was during the era highlighted by manual route cards and the 4 C’s – Candy, cup soda, coffee, and cigarettes.
