NAMA Announces Convenience Services Lobby Day Line-Up for 2019 —
More States, More Member Companies Serviced

CHICAGO – January 31, 2019 – Today, NAMA announced the Convenience Services Lobby Day line-up featuring an increase of two new states this year, Maine and West Virginia. The complete 2019 list:  https://namanow.org/voice/state-councils/#annual.

“Advocacy is the cornerstone of the services NAMA provides to member companies. More state lobby days means that we’re serving the interests of more NAMA member companies,” said Wes Fisher, Regional Legislative Manager.

“We encourage all members to participate in this process. Convenience Services Lobby Days are an ideal opportunity to build relationships with elected officials at the state level, and that’s an important foundation for NAMA’s work at the federal level – and that benefits the entire industry.  This year, members will present Economic Impact data to state officials, demonstrating important metrics in their states – including overall revenue, jobs, wages and taxes,” said Sandy Larson, Senior Director & Counsel, Government Affairs.

NAMA represents the $34.9 billion U.S. Convenience Services Industry. By providing advocacy, education, and research, NAMA works to promote and protect the industry’s over 160,000 hardworking employees. Through traditional vending and micro markets, office coffee and pantry services, product manufacturing, and small-drop distribution, convenience services meets the needs of over 40 million American consumers daily at work, home, school, and play.
